Bitcoin
- CHECKSIGFROMSTACK(VERIFY/ADD)
- Discussions are ongoing about integrating CHECKSIGFROMSTACK (CSFS) BIP into Bitcoin, with questions about including CSFSVerify (CSFSV) and CSFSAdd.
- There is debate over whether to add CSFSV to pre-tapscript due to its compatibility with NOP forking and potential use cases.
- Opinions vary on the necessity and benefits of adding CSFSV and CSFSAdd, with some developers favoring a more focused set of changes.
- ColliderScript: Covenants in Bitcoin via 160-bit hash collisions
- A new method for creating and spending covenants on Bitcoin using Tapscript has been published, which does not require soft forks.
- Creating covenants is easy, but spending them requires significant computation and large Bitcoin transactions.
- The approach enables arbitrary computation on Bitcoin transaction data, limited only by the circuit size that can fit into a 4MB transaction.
Ethereum
- QUIC Support Among Ethereum Consensus Layer Clients
- Approximately 42% of Ethereum Consensus Layer nodes support QUIC, primarily due to Lighthouse’s default enablement.
- QUIC adoption is growing, but mainly over IPv4 with minimal support over IPv6.
- Future QUIC support is expected to expand to other clients as the specification matures.
- Concerning Ethereum’s Fee Issues
- Ethereum transaction fees are relatively low, but smart contract calls are costly.
- A minimalist smart contract for swapping tokens is proposed to reduce fees.
- Concerns include potential arbitrage vulnerabilities and reliance on oracles for price data.
Aptos
- Multisig Platform On Aptos
- The multisig platform, built natively for the Aptos ecosystem
Sui
- Sui Foundation Partners With Babylon Labs, Lombard And Cubist For Programmable Bitcoin
- $BTC holders will soon be able to stake Bitcoin through Babylon’s staking protocol
- The teams are building a future where $BTC holders can participate in on-chain finance without compromising security or liquidity: Lombard co-founder
- Users from all blockchain ecosystems can now come to Sui to participate in an environment where $BTC plays a role: Cubist head of Ecosystem Development
- NAVI has signaled interest in working with Babylon to support $LBTC pools on the protocol
Ton
- MyTonWallet v3.1: Connected Dapps Access, Auto-Lock, Ledger for Mobile, and More
- MyTonWallet v3.1 introduces quick access to connected dapps, improved security settings, and Ledger support for mobile devices.
- The update includes smarter address search, anti-poisoning scam protection, and gasless transactions.
- MyTonWallet now offers optimized token purchases via MoonPay and Tonscan explorer integration.
